Recount Writing

Room 13 have been working hard on their recount writing.  They are learning how to write about a moment in time from a personal experience.  They have put together their success criteria for a good piece of writing.  Bella did a wonderful recount which she shared with the class.

Future Swimming Stars

The Senior Syndicate have started swimming skills this week.  This involves everyone participating 

in Kayaking, Boat Skills, Filippa Ball and Snorkeling.  During boat skills they have the opportunity to jump (with a life jacket on) from the high diving board!  Wow, it looks like amazing fun.

Teamwork

Room 13 have been brainstorming what it means to work co-operatively.  They decided this means - sharing, listening, participating and taking turns.
