Mrs Kaye has finally found time to put Room 13's amazing narratives together in a book. We are enjoying reading all our stories. We have a sheet at the back to write positive comments on our work. We hope guests to our class will enjoy our writing too!

Lost and Found Writing
We went to look at the lost property box and sorted through the items. We chose an item from the box and used our imagination to think about the wild adventure it must of had to get into the Lost and Found. We wrote a plan using a questions template - Who lost it? When was it lost? Where was it found? etc
Now we are publishing our stories about the lost property adventures as comics . Cool!

Bye, Bye, Mrs. Lye
The whole school said a sad farewell to our principal Mrs. Lye at assembly on Friday. Our Kapa Haka group welcomed her into the hall and then sang beautifully for us. To all the seniors that have practiced so tirelessly, you sounded fantastic. Tino pai! Here are some video clips of the event, enjoy.
